Electrodermal Screening (EDS)
Dental Materials Testing
Electro Dermal Screening, EDS, is a scientific approach to health assessment utilizing the meridian system of the body combined with an FDA approved computerized testing device that uses similar principles to an electrocardiogram. It reads an electrical signal that is measurable on the skin. This device is registered with the FDA as a galvanic skin resistance device under guidelines governing medical testing devices.
Technology behind this method of assessment is a combination of both old and new. Ancient principles of the Chinese meridian system have been combined with the latest technology in computers to measure stress or weakness in various energy pathways of the body.
EDS is a noninvasive, painless procedure that uses a pen-like device on specific acupuncture points on the hands and feet. The device is able to scan for toxins such as general chemicals, heavy metals, mold and fungus, parasites, viruses, bacteria, radiation and vaccine chemicals. It can also detect imbalances in minerals and vitamins, along with testing for food sensitivities.
After the scan is completed, a report will be generated with the test results. If a particular organ system is weakened or stressed, the device is able to identify the appropriate remedies (homeopathic, herbal, mineral or vitamin) to match the specific needs of a persons body and bring them into balance.
One of the benefits of this testing method, is that products can be tested on an individual for compatibility, therefore reducing the waste of purchasing products that are not beneficial.
Dental Materials can also be tested for compatibility.
